More about Howlin'

Howlin’ was launched by brothers Jan and Patrick Olyslager, in Antwerp, Belgium, in 2009. Originally known as Howlin’ By Morrison, the brand was inspired by Morrison—a knitwear company founded by their parents in 1981. Howlin’ represents a major departure from traditional knitwear, however, using new technology and experimental knitting techniques to produce one-of-a-kind garments with a distinctly modern feel. Even the brand name, which is Scottish slang for “smelly,” underscores the irreverent and playful attitude that makes Howlin’ clothing so unique. All Howlin’ styles are made from locally sourced premium materials, individually manufactured by skilled artisans in either Scotland, Ireland, or Belgium. By helping preserve the rich heritage and history of knitwear in these regions, Howlin’ honors a legacy of craftsmanship by creating something fresh and distinctly different.
